Core Responsibilities

What will you be doing in your role?


  • Provide financial coaching and training related to topics such as budgets, debt reduction, savings, credit repair, and money management.
  • Engage participants by maintaining regular contact to monitor and track progress in response to coaching services.
  • Develop and encourage implementation of an individualized service plan.
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress and adjust service plan and/or service delivery as necessary.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments with participants according to established standards.
  • Advocate and connect participants with other service providers or agencies in the community.
  • Maintain all records of communication and data collected from participants in CCFW�s online database system.
  • Responsible for maintaining a toolkit that includes diverse financial resources.
  • Familiarity with community resources and other supports.
  • Network with community partners to cultivate professional relationships
  • Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external partners and participate in collaborations.
  • Research financial training offerings and attend training as appropriate.
  • Develop and/or maintain employee training curriculum.
  • Skilled in creating and presenting financial training to individual programs and large groups.
  • Demonstrate proactivity within the program.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Send weekly log to track participant meetings.
  • Hold yourself and others accountable for meeting expectations and are proactive about addressing issues.
  • Maintain and prioritize confidentiality.
  • Results-oriented and excel at problem solving in a solution-focused manner.
  • Meet commitments and effectively manage your administrative duties.
  • Encourage programs you work with to deliver services adhering to the highest ethical standards and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with program staff, peers, and agency leadership to support the overall goals of CCFW.
  • Manage both short- and long-term projects and complete them on time.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Foster an environment of shared accountability, proactive collaboration and constructive communication.
  • Remain up to date on evidence-based practices.
  • Regularly meet with your program manager and colleagues as a group and individually to discuss progress towards goals, expectations, and performance.
  • Work best in a team setting and communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively.
  • Ability present financial trainings at all-staff and Town Hall meetings.
  • Live out the mission and values of CCFW.


Are you the next Employee Success Coach & Financial Specialist?


  • A belief that ending poverty is possible
  • Bachelor�s degree in finance and/or Social Work, or a related field with at least 1-3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or similar OR a combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge or experience with a person-to-person advisory context, saving strategies, debt consolidation resources, leveraging employee benefits, household budget management, etc.
  • Experience in mentoring and/or coaching techniques preferred.
  • Skilled in teaching 1:1 and small/large groups.

  • Full-Time hourly position. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
