We are looking for candidates that can work Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and rotating Saturdays, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. 40 hour per week.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Assist members in all aspects of lending and member service to meet their financial needs in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Possess a high-level understanding of lending practices, lending tools and ancillary products.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of and comply with all department and security policies, procedures and federal regulations; including BSA requirements.
  • Encourage and educate members to use self-service conveniences including but not limited to Mobile Banking, Mobile Remote Capture, ATMs and on-line banking to enhance their service experience.
  • Process routine and complex transactions in accordance with established credit union procedures and performance standards. Open new share accounts, interview members requesting consumer loans and credit cards. Explain loan procedures, obtain necessary documentation, complete applications and route to the underwriting team.
  • Understand and explain NCUA share insurance, basic regulatory rules and compliance issues to members. Have knowledge of fiduciary accounts, business accounts and fraud/forgery procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Experience:


  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Call center, lending, and Meridian Link experience preferred.


Education: High School diploma or GED.


Other Skills: Excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficient in Windows environment and Microsoft productivity software.


Work Environment: Position requires sitting for extended periods of time. Frequent and regular use of computer is required. High energy and fast-paced office environment, subject to stressful situations.
