The EHS Manager provides technical safety and health support including the development and implementation of programs and objectives and day-to-day hands-on support for environmental, health and safety initiatives.
The position requires the candidate to spend extensive amount of time (70%) out in the plant.
Tate & Lyle will embark on a Journey to EHS Excellence (J2EE); a strategy developed for the next 3 - 5 years. The Site EHS Manager will drive and support initiatives, in line with global Journey to EHS Excellence, together with the site's leadership team to improve overall EHS performance of the facility. This individual will work on projects of varying scope that will encompass environmental, regulatory, fire, safety/ergonomics and emergency response matters for the facility (total ~300 employees and contractors).
