Salary Range ($93,400-$124,500) - Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short-term incentive plan.
The Valliant is a 5,000+ ton per day containerboard mill with 3 paper machines, 3 continuous digesters, 3 secondary Fiber plants and an Energy/Chemical Recovery complex composed of three primary boilers for steam generation (Recovery, Power, Bark), Turbine Generator, Evaporators, Recaust Plant, and wastewater treatment system. It currently operates with over 300 mill employees, 150 contract maintenance employees, and 150 other contractors in a results-oriented environment.
The ECR area includes three primary boilers for steam generation (Recovery, Power, Bark), Turbine Generator, Evaporators, Recaust Plant, and waste water treatment system supporting the production of 5,000+ ton per day of containerboard with 3 paper machines, 3 continuous digesters, and 3 secondary fiber plants. The Valliant Mill currently operates with 300 mill employees and 150 contract maintenance employees in a results oriented environment. The objective of this position is to reduce costs and increase productivity by continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance work execution through work prioritization, planning, scheduling, and improvement of the MWS process in a sustainable manner.
