The
Early Head Start Child Care Partnership (EHS CCP) Supervisor of Special Services oversees Family Service Workers and the Intake and Enrollment Specialist, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. This role leads all aspects of ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance), supports full program enrollment, and fosters strong relationships with families and community partners. The Supervisor also supports family engagement, provides staff training and coaching, and contributes to program growth across multiple counties. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to early childhood and family services are essential.+ Supervise, coach, and support Family Service Workers and the Intake and Enrollment Specialist to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, effective family engagement, successful child transitions, and efficient intake and enrollment procedures.
+ Develop and maintain positive, culturally responsive relationships with families, emphasizing the importance of regular attendance and consistent participation in services.
+ Lead and implement all components of Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA), including monitoring attendance trends and implementing proactive strategies to support full enrollment and daily participation.
+ Collaborate with the Parent & Community Engagement Specialist to coordinate recruitment campaigns, public awareness efforts, and ongoing community engagement to support program visibility and accessibility.
+ Facilitate and participate in regular center-level and regional collaboration meetings with partner agencies, including Center Directors and ELRCs, to support enrollment management, data tracking, and community resource alignment.
+ Provide guidance and technical support to staff on ERSEA documentation, family needs assessments, goal setting, and case documentation in alignment with program and federal requirements.
+ Work closely with the Data Coordinator to monitor and analyze child and family data related to ERSEA, health, family outcomes, and service delivery to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
+ Coordinate and oversee the implementation of health services in alignment with Head Start Program Performance Standards, including support for medical, dental, nutrition, and mental health follow-up.
+ Collaborate with staff and community partners to support smooth transitions to preschool programs, including coordination of transition meetings, required documentation, and family education.
+ Assist in the development of program processes, internal systems, and tools that promote consistent service delivery and compliance across counties and partners.
+ Co-lead staff meeting planning, agenda development, and facilitation with the Director of Comprehensive Services to promote communication, accountability, and team collaboration.
+ Identify staff professional development needs and collaborate with the EHS Supervisory Team to plan and deliver relevant, high-impact training opportunities.
+ Participate in the development of grant applications, community needs assessments, and strategic plans, contributing to program expansion and innovation.
+ Support the onboarding, mentoring, and performance evaluation of assigned staff to ensure high standards of practice and retention of qualified professionals.
+ Represent the program at regional or community meetings, interagency collaborations, and public events as needed to build partnerships and promote the mission of Early Head Start.
+ Communicate regularly with the Director of Comprehensive Services regarding program progress, trends, challenges, and recommendations for growth or improvement.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Services, Human Resources or closely related field
required, Master's Degree strongly preferred+ Experience and/or certification in infant-toddler mental health related field
