Position Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and nurturing

Early Childhood Spanish Teacher to provide daily Spanish language instruction to children ranging from infants through Pre-K. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for early childhood education, a passion for language learning, and the ability to make Spanish fun, interactive, and meaningful through songs, stories, games, and creative play.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Spanish instruction daily in classrooms from Infant through Pre-K.
  • Incorporate music, movement, storytelling, and sensory play to introduce Spanish vocabulary and concepts.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to integrate Spanish into classroom routines and curriculum themes.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
  • Observe and assess students' engagement and development, adapting lessons as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with teaching teams and administration to align instruction with developmental goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development aligned with A4YA�s mission and curriculum.


Qualifications:


  • Fluency in Spanish and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Minimum of a CDA, Associate�s, or Bachelor�s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-5 in a classroom or instructional setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in language instruction.
  • Energetic, creative, and passionate about teaching young children.
  • Ability to adapt content for multiple age groups, including nonverbal or pre-verbal learners.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
