We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regional Manager to oversee transportation operations within the Northeast Indiana region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driver management or fleet operations. - Manage daily transportation operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of drivers and staff, cultivating a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Coordinate driver scheduling, route planning, and operational logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspection schedules to ensure fleet safety.
- Monitor performance metrics, conduct evaluations, and implement improvements.
- Resolve operational issues in collaboration with team members and external partners.
- Develop strategies to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and driver retention at the regional level.
- Proven experience in driver or fleet management
- Prior management experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities independently and adapt to changing needs.
- Valid driver�s license and clean driving record preferred (if role requires overseeing driver operations).
