Madrid CFTL, a respected civil and geotechnical engineering firm and proud member of the Madrid Amalgamated Group, is seeking a Driller Helper to support our drilling operations across Florida. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and contributing to critical infrastructure projects. On-the-job training is provided, with room for advancement in the field. A CDL is a plus, but not required.

• Assist drillers with soil test borings using auger and mud rotary drilling equipment
  
• Collect and log soil and rock samples for laboratory analysis
  
• Maintain drill rig equipment and job site cleanliness
  
• Support preparation of field boring logs (training provided)
  
• Participate in soil classification in the field (training provided)
  
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on all job sites
  
• Travel to project locations throughout Florida (overnight stays required)
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the driller or supervisor
  

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed (with per diem provided)
  
• Valid driver�s license and clean driving record required
  
• CDL (Class B) preferred but not required
  
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions closely
  
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly
  
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work
  
• Strong work ethic and reliability
