We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, particularly in the oil and gas industry. This role involves working on construction sites, operating drilling equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of drilling projects.
- Operate drilling rigs and related heavy equipment on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on drilling equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations safely.
- Transport materials and equipment using water trucks, tankers, or forklifts as required.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including depth measurements and material usage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that may arise during drilling operations.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with drilling rigs.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
