As a
Door-to-Door Solar Sales Representative, your role will involve connecting directly with homeowners, introducing them to the benefits of solar energy, and either scheduling follow-up appointments or finalizing sales on the spot. This is a commission-only position with no income cap, best suited for ambitious individuals who excel in a competitive, results-driven environment.- Canvass assigned neighborhoods door-to-door to generate and qualify solar leads (travel, housing, and transportation provided)
- Deliver customized in-home presentations explaining solar benefits and creating tailored solar system quotes
- Close sales by addressing objections and demonstrating long-term value and savings
- Represent the company as a clean energy advocate and educate the community about solar solutions
- Attend daily sales training and team meetings to improve product knowledge and sales techniques
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and answer any post-sale questions
- Experience in door-to-door sales (solar sales preferred)
- Willing and able to relocate to Hawaii (Honolulu-based role)
- Strong communication, persuasion, and closing skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
- Must be available Monday-Friday; flexible to work weekends as needed
- Reliable transportation for travel to assigned neighborhoods
- Appointment Setters: $200-$300 per kW closed
- Closers: $800-$1,100+ per kW (average)
- Top performers earn between $120K and $450K+ annually!
- 1099 contract
- Housing & Transportation: Provided upon start; must be actively producing to remain eligible.
- Flight: Initial flight reimbursed once production starts.
