We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Assistant to join our team At Mutty Paws of NWA. We are a dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility in East Springdale. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing exceptional care to furry friends and their people. This position is for a morning position and would be expected to open the business. We have another kennel position open for evenings if interested.
- Supervise and interact with animals in the daycare facility
- Provide feeding and boarding assistance
- Monitor animal behavior and health
- Maintain a clean and disinfected daycare environment
- Engage in playtime and activities with the animals
- Check dogs in and out
-Schedule appointments
-Answer phones
- Previous experience in animal handling or related fields such as veterinary, pet grooming, or pet sitting is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with pet owners
- Knowledge of animal behavior and basic care practices
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
