We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled

Director of Clinical Education to join our healthcare organization. This is an exciting opportunity to drive clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient outcomes by leading education initiatives focused on the early detection of cardiovascular disease.


The Director of Clinical Education will oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive educational programs for clinical staff, including physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams. This individual will bring expert clinical knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a proven ability to translate science into meaningful practice change.


Key Responsibilities/Educational Program Development & Delivery


  • Design, implement, and evaluate education programs aligned with our service model of early cardiovascular disease detection.
  • Develop curriculum on testing science, key diagnostic indicators, report interpretation, and clinical application to improve provider decision-making and patient outcomes.
  • Deliver education through workshops, simulations, presentations, and digital learning platforms.


Clinical Expertise & Support


  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to internal teams and client clinical staff.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay current on evolving standards of care, guidelines, and innovations in cardiovascular medicine and patient education.


Leadership & Collaboration


  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure clinical education supports best practices and optimal patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of organizational policies, procedures, and standards that advance professional learning and care quality.
  • Lead efforts in continuous professional development for both internal staff and client partners.


Program Evaluation & Quality Improvement


  • Assess the effectiveness of educational initiatives using evidence-based metrics and provider feedback.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimize learning outcomes and practice integration.
  • Align educational initiatives with organizational goals, accreditation standards, and regulatory compliance.


Qualifications & Skills· Education & Licensure


  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Cardiology (Doctorate required).
  • Current or recent clinical licensure as an MD or DO.
  • Advanced degree or certification in medical education preferred.
  • Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) credential strongly desired.


Experience


  • 5+ years of clinical practice experience in cardiovascular care.
  • Proven success in clinical education, curriculum design, and program leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience educating and mentoring physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Familiarity with simulation-based and technology-enhanced learning.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse clinical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
