The Director of Center Operations is responsible for the daily operations of the Center. The DCO ensures a safe and effective treatment environment for clients, manages staff, and communicates with families.


JOB HIGHLIGHTS


  • Ensure treatment services are delivered in accordance with evidence-based practices
  • Maintain familiarity with center clients and BCBAs via periodic direct supervision of each
  • Oversee center clinical operations by providing training, and/or support to Center administration, BCBAs, and BTs (as needed)
  • Manage staff concerns within the scope of the Center
  • Coordinate staffing to ensure that all clients have appropriate staffing coverage and ratios
  • Provide a safe and positive working environment for clients and staff by helping to develop new protocols as needed
  • Ensure that the Center is kept organized, safe, clean, and in good repair
  • Maintain consistent inventory and ordering of materials
  • Ensure all new BCBA�s and Fellows are provided adequate training in regard to Center protocols and culture
  • Collaborate with other DCOs to develop standards to be maintained across all locations
  • Collaborate with COO, CECO, and Directors and attend regularly scheduled Directors and Staff meetings
  • Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors in relation to their assigned Center-based clients
  • Attend and participate in company meetings, trainings, and professional development


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Be available in the rare case of off hours emergencies
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • DCOs at the Farmington, CT center have the following additional responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with and oversee Supervision Coordinator to create and maintain a BACB fieldwork program

+ Collaborate with Professional Development; implement trainings for Center staff as needed

+ Collaborating with patient intake and insurance teams to ensure smooth patient start up, adherence to deadlines, and abiding my insurance related requirements


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least 3 years� experience working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • 1 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • CPR/BLS required
  • Experience working directly with clients demonstrating a variety of skill levels and behavioral needs
  • Team player, flexible and able to solve problems in the moment, attention to detail, demonstrates leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to take feedback, optimistic
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and ability to work independently and as part of a team


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (e.g., students, equipment, etc.)
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to sit on the floor, in small chairs, or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to push, pull, carry, reach, bend, twist, run, stoop, climb, etc. as needed
  • Must be willing to assist in the management of challenging behaviors
  • Must be able to remain conscious and alert at all times
  • Ability to perform regular office duties & cleaning center locations (e.g., rooms, surfaces, supplies, toys, etc.)
