Director of Accounting, you’ll lead all general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance efforts across our branch network. field services business and thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment.- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets
- Partner with operations to support accurate job costing and expense tracking
- Implement financial best practices across multiple branches and markets
- Analyze performance trends and support executive decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team
- Drive process improvements and integrate financial technologies, including AI where appropriate
- Align financial strategy with organizational goals in service, sales, and operations
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and operational leaders to support business initiatives
- Bachelor�s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in field services or multi-location businesses
- Strong proficiency with Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Experience with PestPac or other field service platforms strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Prior experience in the pest control industry or a similar service-based environment
- Skilled in process automation, reporting tools, and accounting system integration
- Able to interpret complex data to guide strategy and operational improvement
- Comfortable in a high-growth, hands-on environment with multiple stakeholders
