We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and patient
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one care to a 28-year-old individual with specialized behavioral and medical needs. This client requires a structured, supportive environment and consistent routine.Male applicants are strongly encouraged to apply due to client-specific behaviors.
Weekdays 10am-6pm
- CPI Certification (Must be completed before being placed on the schedule)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Recent TB Test
- Ability to pass a background check
- 28-year-old individual receiving person-centered care
- Diagnosed with nonrheumatic mitral valve prolapse and undergoing autism screening
- Requires support with daily routines, medication, mobility, and nutrition
- Needs structured behavioral support and routine-based care
The client exhibits
aggressive behaviors such as hitting, biting, and throwing, often with no clear trigger. Training and support will be provided to ensure caregivers can:- Utilize de-escalation and redirection strategies
- Maintain a calm and supportive environment
- Ensure safety for both client and staff
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, and medication compliance
- Support with mobility and fall prevention
- Engage in structured routines and recreational activities
- Promote independence and emotional well-being
