The Arc Idaho is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We have part-time and full-time openings for Direct Care Professionals. DSP’s work directly with adults with I/DD, assisting them in learning skills to become more involved in our community and increase their independence. Each day includes a variety of work and no two days are the same. It’s perfect for those looking for part-time work to earn extra income, and perfect for retiree’s or students looking for flexible part-time work! The Arc has great employees who value each other and are eager to welcome new staff on board.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification upon hire with no cost to the employee.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation with no cost to the employee.
- Working with program participants in their home.
- Assisting adults with disabilities in achieving their dreams of independence.
- Supervision of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, meal prep, light housekeeping.
