South Central Human Service Center Bridges to Recovery - Jamestown, ND - Direct Care Associate


Night Shift: 10pm to 6:30am which includes every other weekend and every other holiday.

No experience required; on-site training provided.


As a

Direct Care Associate. you will connect with clients to complete daily living activities with the goal of increasing their ability to be independent.


Each day, you will assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Also, you will model effective communication and socialization interactions as well as teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies. You will observe and monitor individuals' condition. documenting and reporting any changes in well- being. In addition, you will assist the individuals identify their goals for recovery, learning, and practicing new skills, and what is important for them.


You will thrive in this position, if you are an empathetic individual and have a passion for teaching individuals life skills and how to overcome barriers that may be present in their lives.


To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or GED. Experience providing direct care to special populations is preferred. We will provide CNA training onsite if not currently certified.

Location: ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
