We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at ARMINE NAZARIAN, DMD, INC. In this role, you will support our dental professionals in delivering high-quality care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic operation.
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming environment for patients.
- Perform basic dental procedures such as taking x-rays and impressions.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental clinic.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA regulations.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
