Dental Assistant

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the dentist in various clinical procedures, such as fillings, crowns, onlays, root canal treatment, extractions, implants, placement of rubber dam and fabrication of provisional restorations
  
• Obtain consent forms; review procedure and risks with patients
  
• Take dental photography
  
• Set up and break down treatment rooms between patients. Disinfect and sterilize instruments. Enter template clinical notes for the dentist. Maintain sterilization and lab areas
  
• Taking an admin role when necessary, such as answering phone calls, scheduling patients, ordering supplies & equipment, and presenting treatment plans
  

Experience:

• Solid dental assisting training and experience
  
• Graduate of CODA accredited program welcome
  
• Current BLS/CPR certification
  
• Current radiology certification
  

Schedule is a 4-day work week with 8 hour shift. No weekend. Alternating Monday and Friday each week for the days off; this schedule allows for a 4-day weekend every other week

Pay Range: $18 to $23 depending on experience
