Delivery Driver

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver with a Class B license to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Home most nights, some overnight trips possible. General warehouse duties will apply when not driving. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Duties

Prairie Supply, Inc. & FormAll is a leading construction supplies contractor’s headquarters. For 35 years we have specialized in providing concrete materials and equipment with physical locations throughout the Dakotas, and customers across the US. Transport concrete construction materials over land to and from store locations & job sites.

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents or violations.

Qualifications

Based in Rapid City SD | Starting at $24/hr | Full-Time

Deliver a wide variety of concrete construction supplies to our customers (residential & commercial)

Load, unload, and operate your delivery vehicle like a pro

Stick to the schedule, follow routes, and crush time management

Follow DOT regulations & safety guidelines (because safety > speed)

Be friendly, helpful, and a great representative of our company - in person and over the phone

Pitch in with warehouse tasks when not on deliveries (teamwork makes the dream work!)

Delivery driving or warehouse experience? Excellent!

Valid driver’s license (required)

Clean driving record - no funny business

Forklift operation skills (or willingness to learn)

Basic computer know-how & ability to fill out logs

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Class A CDL + 1 year of experience? Big bonus, but not required

Mechanical knowledge or interest in fixing things? Cool perk!

Starting at $24/hr (depending on experience)
