Job description


The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering medications and pharmacy products to patients and customers. This role requires a courteous, dependable individual who ensures timely deliveries, collects necessary payments, and supports customer satisfaction through professional service and communication.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Load vehicles with medications and pharmacy products scheduled for delivery.
  • Complete deliveries promptly and accurately, ensuring courteous service at every stop.
  • Verify and document receipt of delivered items, obtaining customer signatures as required.
  • Collect out-of-pocket payments due upon delivery according to pharmacy procedures.
  • Maintain company vehicles, ensuring regular fueling, cleanliness, routine maintenance, and safe operation.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff to resolve customer questions, concerns, or complaints encountered during deliveries.
  • Follow all health, safety, and confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Perform additional delivery-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Prior delivery experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or pharmacy settings.
  • Ability to use mobile devices or delivery apps (training provided if needed).


Work Conditions:


  • Frequent driving and navigation through the local delivery area.
  • Occasional exposure to weather conditions.
  • Physical activity, including lifting, bending, and walking.

Work Schedule:


  • Must be available during our business hours:


Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 6 PM

Saturday: 9 AM - 2 PM


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $14.00 per hour
