This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).
Service Deli Clerks are responsible but are not limited to the below:
- preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department�s deli products. (Deli products include deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet and hot case items.)
- informing customers about our deli products and services
- help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers
- work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce special promotions and weekly specials.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds
- Service deli, food handling/prep, customer service experience helpful
- Must have TB Clearance
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements
