Dealership Parts Manager

Thomson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our automotive service facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of automotive parts and supply chain management. This role is crucial for ensuring that our operations run smoothly, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

• Manage the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control and warehouse management.
  
• Utilize an order management system to track parts orders, shipments, and deliveries efficiently.
  
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts.
  
• Oversee procurement management processes to ensure timely availability of automotive parts and supplies.
  
• Implement effective supply chain management strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce costs.
  
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries and orders.
  
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in automotive service and parts management.
  
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and supplier performance metrics.
  

• Proven experience in automotive parts management or a related field is preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and order management systems.
  
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on meeting client needs effectively.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
