Daycare & Preschool Center Director

Anna's Bananas Daycare & Preschool is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as an integral member of our management team. This individual will possess a passion for education, strong motivational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our daycare and preschool classrooms and staff.

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the center, including maintaining staffing ratios, overseeing curriculum implementation, conducting staff training, managing children's records, and other related duties.
  
• Ensure the safety and well-being of both staff and children within the center.
  
• Foster positive relationships with families and parents to deliver exceptional care and address the needs of each child and family.
  
• Ensure the center's adherence to Anna's Bananas Daycare & Preschool policies and procedures.
  
• Hiring, developing, and engaging a team of passionate and committed educators.
  
• Cultivating positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
  
• Leveraging your business, sales, and marketing expertise to expand Anna�s Bananas Daycare & Preschool�s community presence, thereby increasing enrollment.
  
• Ensure the center's compliance with Minnesota Department of Human Services - Rule 9503.
  
• Conduct tours for prospective families and provide assistance throughout the enrollment process.
  
• Demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  
• Possess the ability to lift children weighing up to 40 pounds.

• At least one year of proven leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
  
• Exceptional customer service and strong organizational skills, with the capacity to effectively multitask and manage diverse situations.
  
• Proficiency in basic computer use.
  
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and comfort working both indoors and outdoors.
  
• Capability to assume low-level postures for physical and visual contact with children, adequate hearing and vision to ensure child safety, and participation in physical activity.
  
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, understanding, and speaking) for effective communication with children and their parents.
  
• Daily on-site work at the center is required for this position.
  
• Ability to meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
