The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role involves crafting classic and innovative cocktails, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring responsible alcohol service-all while embodying Hyatt’s commitment to personalized service and warm hospitality.

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and Hyatt standards
  
• Interact with guests to take orders, offer recommendations, and provide an engaging bar experience
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including glassware, tools, and equipment
  
• Verify age requirements and adhere to all responsible alcohol service procedures
  
• Handle payment transactions accurately using POS systems
  
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory control
  
• Communicate effectively with servers and team members to ensure seamless service
  
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
  
• Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a high-volume setting
  
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails
  
• Ability to remain calm and focused during busy periods
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Must possess or obtain a valid Washoe County Alcohol Awareness Card and Food Handler Card
  
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed
  
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
