The Role: Customer Care Coordinator

Customer Care Coordinator, you’ll guide claimants through their Social Security Disability (SSDI) journey-supporting them at every stage: from application to hearing to appeal.


You’ll be the connection point between our clients, government agencies, and internal teams-making sure every step of the process is smooth, accurate, and supportive. This isn’t just admin work-it’s human work. You’re helping people access life-changing benefits, and you’ll have the training, tools, and leadership support to do it well.


What You’ll Do:


  • Evaluate referral information to determine eligibility based on SSA guidelines
  • Complete online SSDI applications while guiding claimants through each question
  • Prepare cases at the Hearing Level and Appeals Council with legal team support
  • Request and manage medical and vocational evidence to build strong case
  • Draft legal correspondence and help attorneys prepare essential documents
  • Provide excellent service through high-volume calls and real-time claimant support
  • Maintain detailed case records and track all customer interactions and documents
  • Hit (and exceed!) KPIs for quality, conversions, and communication excellence


What You Bring:


  • Associate�s degree OR equivalent experience in disability, insurance, legal, or government sectors
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of experience in one or more of the following
  • Salesforce
  • Social Security or Disability claims
  • Long-Term Disability
  • Paralegal or legal support
  • Data analytics
  • Passion for helping others and solving problems
  • Sharp attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish? Even better!
