SeaView Community Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Custodian to join our Facilities team. The Custodian plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff, clients, and visitors. This position works independently and is responsible for the general upkeep of agency facilities.- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean windows, walls, and glass surfaces
- Restock paper products and supplies in bathrooms and kitchens
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
- Report maintenance and repair needs to the Facilities Manager
- Assist with seasonal upkeep such as snow removal, lawn care, and minor maintenance tasks
- Ensure buildings are secure during and after shifts
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism across all facilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Valid Alaska Driver�s License and clean driving record preferred
