CSR - Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at Northern Lights Chimney & Hearth, located in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. Your role is vital in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for customers seeking our chimney and fireplace solutions.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media providing accurate information about services.
  
• Greet walk-in customers and answer questions about appliances and other offerings in our showroom. Extensive training will be provided, and a willingness to learn about the chimney, hearth, and venting industries is a must!
  
• Assist customers in scheduling appointments for in-home sales consultations, chimney/fireplace inspections, and chimney/fireplace maintenance.
  
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution and satisfaction.
  
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and enhance client experiences.
  
• Provide support in sales initiatives by promoting additional services when appropriate.
  
• Ensure all communications reflect the company's values of integrity and quality service.
  

• Proven experience in customer service or related field, preferably in home services.
  
• Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
  
• Familiarity with call center operations and dispatching is beneficial but not mandatory.
  
• Knowledge of local geography in our coverage area is essential to your success. In this role, you will be receiving inquiries from the following counties: Oneida, Vilas, Forest, Florence, Iron (WI), Lincoln, Price, Ontonagon, Houghton, Gogebic, Keweenaw, and Iron (MI).
  
• Basic computer skills for managing customer records and communications. Microsoft office experience will be helpful.
  
• Digital marketing, social media marketing, or graphic design experience would be a huge plus!
