Salary: $60,000-$85,000/year (DOE & Licensure)


On-Call Stipend: Additional $15,000-$20,000 annually


Relocation Assistance: Up to $3,000

Position Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Crisis Clinician to join our team. This dynamic position includes a dual focus:


  • Crisis Services: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide emergency mental health assessments, crisis stabilization, and de-escalation.
  • Outpatient Therapy: Carry a half-time caseload providing individual and/or group therapy, supporting clients in achieving long-term recovery and wellness.

Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct mental health and substance use assessments (routine and emergent)
  • Deliver evidence-based outpatient therapy to individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders
  • Respond to behavioral health crises in community and hospital settings
  • Coordinate care across teams and community providers
  • Participate in the after-hours crisis rotation
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Attend team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing trainings


Qualifications


  • Master�s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Licensure in Alaska (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligibility within 6 months preferred
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
  • Experience with crisis intervention or emergency services strongly preferred
  • Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and effective during high-pressure situations
