County Clerk
Seward County is now accepting applications for the County Clerk. Applicants must be a Seward County resident upon hire and be registered to vote in Seward County. This is to fulfill the term of the elected County Clerk position until January 2027.
In Seward County, the County Clerk also serves as the Register of Deeds and Election Commissioner. Duties include handling Accounts Payable for the county, serving as the Secretary to the Board of Commissioners, filing of real estate documents, conducting all elections in Seward County, and related duties.
Current salary is $87,000 for 2025; $89,500 as of January 2026 per resolution.
