The incumbent in this position is responsible for activities in the Count Room to ensure the integrity of currency and voucher counting derived from the VIGL Operations games, as well as ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Casino work permit
· Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external guest
· Maintains protection of extremely large amounts of currency, ensuring prevention of loss by providing extreme care and attention to detail
· Ensures that procedures and proper controls are affected to protect counted receipts
· Conducts a mechanically assisted count of the contents of the bill validator boxes
· Maintains awareness of changes and/or problems which may affect the security of the currency in the Count Room and reports observances to the Director of Cash Operations
· Counts and reconciles total funds to ensure the integrity of the count
· Transfers the corresponding documentation to the Accounting Department on a daily basis
· Prepares funds, with proper documentation for transfer of funds to the Cashier/Cage Department
· Conducts all facets of the count from the opening of the boxes, counting of the drop, verification
of documentation and bundling of currency to the final reconciliation of totals, as well as any other related task
· Perform work regularly and predictably
· Must adhere to the company’s established COVID-19 protocols
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Director of Cash Operations
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be extremely numbers-oriented, detailed and computer-literate
· Procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

· Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
· Identify different denominations of vouchers and currency and quickly count and stock vouchers and currency
· Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed
· Must successfully pass background check
· Must submit to and pass an Alcohol/Drug Screen
· Ability to communicate, understand and write English, bi-lingual a plus
· Ability to lift 25lbs
Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraints. Must be able to tolerate constant exposure to general public and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with arms, and talk or hear. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to guest and staff.
