Job SummaryManages processes and procedures which lead to the appointment and reappointment of the applicants and current appointees of the medical and dental staffs. Ensures the timely and accurate completion and submission of applications for physicians, dentists and mid-level providers, in accordance with the Bylaws.
Performs most work under normal office conditions. Work may require sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, using repetitive wrist/arm motion frequently and lifting.
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Certification by National Association Medical Staff Services or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialists preferred. Previous experience as a Credentialing Coordinator preferred. Knowledge of The Joint Commission standards for hospitals and Behavioral Health Centers preferred.
Pay Range$23.65 - $35.50
