Position Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented

Construction Scheduler with hands-on experience using Primavera P6 to support the planning and execution of complex construction projects. The Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, coordinating with project managers and field teams, and ensuring accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain baseline schedules and updates using Primavera P6 for multiple construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to gather input on schedules and milestones.
  • Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), logic ties, and resource assignments.
  • Analyze schedule impacts and provide delay analysis, recovery plans, and critical path evaluations.
  • Track progress against baselines and generate weekly and monthly schedule reports.
  • Collaborate with estimating and procurement teams to align construction sequences with budgets and lead times.
  • Identify risks and constraints that could impact project timelines; provide recommendations to mitigate delays.
  • Support the preparation of time impact analyses (TIA) and scheduling narratives for change orders or claims.
  • Interface with clients and third parties to present or clarify schedule-related data.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor�s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is preffered.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of scheduling experience in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (preferred); knowledge of MS Project or other scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of CPM scheduling principles, resource loading, and earned value concepts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis and forensic delay claims is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Primavera P6 certification (Oracle) or equivalent training.
  • Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Aconex, or similar).
  • OSHA 30 certification or similar safety awareness training.

  • Qualifications


Proven experience in project scheduling within the construction industry.


  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, or HeavyBid.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating principles.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
