Construction Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, occupational health, and risk management. This role is critical in fostering a safe working environment for all employees while adhering to OSHA regulations and other industry standards.

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards and NEC regulations.
  
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
  
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Maintain records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation for regulatory purposes.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends related to EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) regulations and best practices in construction safety management.
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims related to job site injuries.
  

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance management.
  
• Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics and reporting.
  
• Knowledge of risk management principles as they pertain to construction environments.
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train staff on safety protocols.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while maintaining a focus on safety excellence.
