AECOM Tishman is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in New York, NY


This position is expected to begin in

May 2026.


The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:


  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:


  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor�s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
  • Candidates must have completed 2 years of study in their program.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working for a large general contractor.
  • Previous relevant internship experience.
  • Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.


Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $21.91/hour - $30.12/hour.
