Position Title: Concrete Finisher
Reports to: Foreman/Superintendent
Location: AZ
Job Type: Full time Monday-Friday
Overtime, including weekends, may be required as job duties demand
Job Overview:
A Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete in various construction projects such as foundations, sidewalks, driveways, roads, curbs, and slabs. The role involves working with a team of laborers, equipment operators, and supervisors to ensure concrete work is performed to specifications, standards, and deadlines. Setting forms for concrete site work per specifications and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine concrete work requirements.
· Prepare construction sites by cleaning, leveling, compacting, and setting up forms
· Install wire mesh, rebar, or post-tension cables for reinforcement.
· Direct or assist in pouring concrete into prepared forms or surfaces.
· Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand tools, or power screeds.
· Use tools such as trowels, floats, and edging tools to achieve the desired finish (e.g., smooth, broom, exposed aggregate).
· Apply curing agents, sealants, and surface treatments to protect concrete.
· Tools, equipment, supplies loading & unloading required for each project
Requirements:
· Working in a variety of outdoor conditions (hot, cold, wet)
· Attendance is required for this position
· At least 2 years or more of concrete finisher experience
· Must have transportation
