Community Sponsorship Liaison & Social Media Coordinator

i.g. Burton Auto Group is seeking a dynamic and outgoing individual to serve as our

Community Sponsorship Liaison & Social Media Coordinator. This full-time position plays a key role in enhancing our brand presence in the community and online. You will represent i.g. Burton at sponsored events-interacting with the public, building goodwill, and being the face of the dealership. You’ll also capture and share the energy of these moments on social media, keeping our audiences engaged and informed.

This role is ideal for someone who loves to meet new people, thrives in social settings, and understands the power of real-time digital storytelling. Think of it as “shaking hands and kissing babiesâ€-but with a phone in hand, capturing it all for our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

• Serve as a brand ambassador at i.g. Burton-sponsored events, local festivals, charitable functions, and community outreach activities.
  
• Proactively engage with event attendees, partners, and local organizations to foster positive relationships.
  
• Help set up, staff, and manage event activations, ensuring a professional and welcoming presence.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams and dealerships to align community involvement with overall brand goals.
  

Social Media Content & Coordination

• Create engaging, on-the-ground content (photos, videos, captions) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  
• Share real-time updates from events and collaborate with the marketing team for planned content posts.
  
• Monitor, engage, and respond to community comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
  
• Track engagement metrics and assist in reporting content performance.
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, social media, or a related field.
  
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills-comfortable striking up a conversation with anyone.
  
• Social media savvy with a strong understanding of platform trends and engagement tactics.
  
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to support event attendance.
  
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly visible role where multitasking and presence matter.
  
• Valid driver�s license and reliable transportation.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Photography/videography skills (especially mobile-based content creation).
  
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling software.
  
• Experience representing a brand at public events or trade shows.
