Commercial Service Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Service Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in commercial plumbing systems, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality service to our clients. This position will involve diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues in commercial establishments, ensuring that plumbing systems operate efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on maintaining a heathy backlog so that our technicians have full schedules.

• Diagnose Plumbing Issues: Inspect and identify plumbing problems in commercial buildings, including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures.
  
• Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and sewage systems, to ensure they function properly.
  
• Installations: Install new plumbing systems and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters, as needed.
  
• Troubleshooting: Analyze complex plumbing problems and implement effective solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
  
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe work environment.
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and installations, and provide necessary documentation to clients and the company.
  
• Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, answer their questions, and provide advice on plumbing issues and preventive maintenance.
  
• Emergency Response: Be available for emergency plumbing repairs and respond promptly to service requests, including after-hours or weekends.
  
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to high standards and meets local plumbing codes and regulations.
  
• Tools and Equipment: Maintain, clean, and organize tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or plumbing apprenticeship preferred).
  
• State plumbing license or certification, as required by local regulations.
  
• Proven experience in commercial plumbing, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  

• Ability to lift heavy plumbing equipment and materials.
  
• Good physical condition and stamina to work in various environments.
  
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
  

Typical schedule is M-F days, but customer needs will determine actual schedule.
