We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive driving experience and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. As a Commercial Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Operate various types of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while following established routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws.
- Valid commercial driver�s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience operating flatbeds is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent route driving skills with a focus on time management and efficiency.
