CNC Press and Laser Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Press and Laser Assistant to support our production operations. In this role, you will assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC press brake and laser cutting equipment. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow within the metal fabrication industry.

• Assist with the setup and operation of CNC press brake and laser cutting machines
  
• Support senior operators in forming and cutting metal parts to specification
  
• Load/unload materials onto machines and prepare parts for processing
  
• Perform basic quality checks and inspections
  
• Clean, organize, and maintain the machine work area
  
• Monitor machine operations and report any irregularities
  
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  
• Assist with other fabrication duties as needed
  

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a metal fabrication or CNC environment
  
• Basic knowledge of blueprints, technical drawings, and measuring tools
  
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
  
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
  
• High school diploma or GED
  

• Experience working with Bystronic press brakes or laser machines
  
• Familiarity with CNC programming concepts is a plus
  
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  
• Basic computer skills
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs)
  
• Regular walking, standing, stooping, and bending
  
• Must pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical screening
  
• Must wear required PPE
