Coordinates food service activities of establishment and helps ensure quality delivery of service by restaurant staff. As a team leader, the supervisor will strongly influence guest impressions of the total organization. Additionally, the supervisor will provide needed support and guidance to the Dining Staff to ensure LJBTC, Inc.'s Signature Service standards
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the unit in the absence of a restaurant manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of organization. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must have and maintain a current Food Handlers Card and RBS certificate.
Ability to use a networked PC effectively with a working knowledge of word processing software such as (WordPerfect or Word) and spreadsheets such as Lotus 123 (or Excel).

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The pace is generally moderate and may be quite fast.

Employees in this position have daily interaction with guests, kitchen and dining service personnel. This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Shifts will generally be rotated unless you were hired for a specific shift, as much as possible to be fair to everyone.
