About Us:


Willow Behavioral Health is a growing outpatient behavioral health program in Madison, Wisconsin, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and fostering long-term recovery through a compassionate and structured clinical environment.


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Supervisor to oversee the clinical curriculum, compliance, and staff development of our program. This leadership role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of care, enhancing client retention, and driving positive clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:Clinical Leadership & Oversight


  • Provide clinical oversight of the PHP/IOP program, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for clients.
  • Supervise and support therapists, counselors, and clinical staff, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Conduct clinical case reviews, treatment planning oversight, and staff consultations to improve client outcomes.
  • Monitor client retention, engagement, attendance, and participation to optimize program effectiveness.


Client Care & Compliance


  • Oversee client assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of utilization reviews, authorizations, and medical necessity documentation.
  • Provide direct clinical care, including individual or group therapy as needed.
  • Oversee UA screenings, transportation coordination, and sober living referrals, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, families, and external providers to support integrated care.


Program Development & Staff Training


  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and treatment models aligned with industry standards.
  • Lead staff training, clinical supervision, and professional development initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture that prioritizes client care and ethical treatment.
  • Identify and implement improvements to client engagement and retention strategies.


Requirements:


  • Active license or comparable license in Wisconsin (required).
  • Clinical experience in a Detox, PHP/IOP outpatient mental health/SUD program.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, etc.).
  • Experience with client engagement, retention strategies, UAs, transportation coordination, and sober living support.
  • Proficiency in treatment planning, utilization reviews, and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with program accreditation (CARF, Joint Commission, or similar).
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, reimbursement processes, and clinical billing practices.
  • Background in crisis intervention and risk management.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $75,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
