Responsibilities:

This role involves working closely with physicians, patients, and their families to deliver comprehensive nursing care to children. The ideal candidate should have experience in pediatrics, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:* Conduct patient assessments, take vital signs, and record patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as prescribed.
  
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and other clinical tasks alongside the pediatricians.
  
• Educate parents and guardians on care instructions, medications, and any specific needs related to their child�s health.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment.
  
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and child safety standards.
  
• Provide comfort and emotional support to young patients and their families.
  

Qualifications:

• RN License to Practice, State of Iowa.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment and prioritize tasks.
  
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / Mandatory Reporter.
