What the Role Entails:


The Clinical Education Coordinator supports the Manager of Clinical Education in leading the daily operations of a department responsible for system-wide education initiatives for clinical staff. Focus areas include orientation, competency assessments, continuing education, and high-impact learning programs. This role manages practice standards, staffing, quality improvement, and department efficiencies, while also providing direct support and feedback to clinical education team members.


What’s Required:* Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
  • BLS certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire); ACLS or PALS preferred; BLS Training Center Faculty status highly preferred
  • Master�s degree in nursing or education required; OR bachelor�s degree in nursing or related field with four years of education or unit leadership experience
  • Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical learning interventions and processes
  • Experience in educational leadership or supervision of clinical educators preferred
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development preferred
