Responsibilities:


We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Family Medicine team in Iowa. This position is open to

Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN). The Clinical Nurse will provide support in patient care across all ages, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education in a primary care setting.* Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures
  • Room payients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure
  • Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care
  • Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment


Qualifications:

  • Active CMA certification, LPN, or RN license in Iowa

+ CMA Certification - accredited program and certification

  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Previous experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • EHR proficiency preferred
  • A team player - ability to multi-task
