Independently performs the general responsibilities and essential functions in the provision of services to participants receiving services through programs administered within the Community Support Services Division.
· Plan, direct, and supervise service delivery to Participants in accordance with applicable Federal, State, local, and agency rules, laws, standards, policies and procedures.
· Protect Participant’s human, legal, and civil rights.
· Ensure all Participant Protected Health Information (PHI) is used or disclosed in accordance with HIPAA compliant practices.
· Assure services are delivered in accordance with Participant Individual Service Plans (ISP).
· Communicate changes/updates to Participant’s schedule with team members.
· Report on Participant progress toward outcomes as determined by the ISP.
· Stay informed of current innovations and trends related to the responsibilities and functions of the position. Attend required meetings and training sessions.
· Ensure disruptions to Participant services are kept to a minimum.
· Represent the interests of the Arc of Hilo onsite and in the community during contact with guests, visitors, other employees, or the public at-large.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or designee on an incidental or short-term basis due to staff shortages or temporary emergencies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Current license, education and/or experience :
2. Current State of Hawaii driver’s license and access to a reliable, enclosed, 4-wheel personal vehicle.
3. Current CPR and First Aid Certificates.
4. Current TB clearance.
5. Pass criminal history and Protective Services Central Registry (Child and Adult) clearances.
6. Acceptable traffic abstract.
7. Able to safely operate and transport Participants and/or employees in company owned vehicles.
8. Pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening.
9. Read, write, and communicate in standard English.
