Howard Logistics, a sister company of Acme Distribution, is a leading supply chain company in Denver, Colorado. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A CDL Driver for local Denver area routes. This position offers the opportunity to be home daily and work with a team that values exceptional customer service and safe operations.
Responsibilities
Perform metro area deliveries on local routes
Operate manual day cab and 53-foot trailer
Ensure compliance with DOT, warehouse, and shipping documentation, including freight bills, BOLs, Over-Short-Damage reports, manifests, and driver's logs
Adhere to safety policies in warehouse, docks, driving, loading, and unloading
Provide exceptional customer service and complete deliveries in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Conduct pre/post-dispatch equipment inspections
Ensure safe operation of all equipment
Experience using a pallet jack
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months of experience (mountain driving experience a plus)
Ability to drive a manual transmission
Maintain a clean driver's record
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Must be 21+ years of age
Compensation
Pay: $25.50-$31.50 per hour, depending on experience
