AmeriCorps members serve as mentors and facilitators, leading structured STEM, literacy, and social-emotional learning (SEL) activities at school sites during out-of-school time. In addition to supporting education, members engage in community initiatives focused on disaster preparedness and environmental stewardship. These include delivering age-appropriate emergency readiness education and leading sustainability efforts like environmental education projects. Members serve in underserved schools, helping improve student connection, participation, and confidence in learning.
