We are seeking a strategic, relationship-oriented Channel Partnership Consultant (Los Angeles City Lead) to spearhead collaboration development and management with key service institutions throughout Los Angeles. In this role, you will lead the local team, drive regional partnership growth, and serve as the core leader for Waterdrop’s channel expansion in the Los Angeles market.
Channel Development & Partnership Building
Build and nurture trusted relationships with decision-makers at key local institutions, identify potential user needs, and explore collaboration opportunities aligned with business goals.
Lead and coordinate online/offline training sessions, communication events, and promotional activities with partner institutions to amplify service influence in the Los Angeles area.
Oversee the full lifecycle of partnerships, from negotiation and contract finalization to implementation and performance tracking, ensuring effective execution of collaborative initiatives.
Manage and lead the Los Angeles-based channel team, including setting team goals, optimizing work processes, and providing guidance to drive individual and collective performance.
Foster a collaborative team culture, coordinate internal resources, and align local strategies with the overall overseas business objectives.
Demonstrated business development (BD) capabilities, with experience in formulating channel strategies, initiating negotiations, and successfully delivering partnership outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building long-term, trust-based relationships across diverse professional settings.
Familiarity with mainstream crowdfunding platforms in the U.S., and the ability to clearly articulate the platform’s value proposition and differentiators to institutional partners.
Proven experience in managing a local team in Los Angeles, with strong leadership skills to motivate and develop team members.
Emotionally mature, with the ability to maintain professionalism when addressing sensitive topics in business contexts.
In-depth understanding of the Los Angeles market landscape and local institutional collaboration norms is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15,882.77 - $25,977.10 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
