Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. This position requires a strong commitment to caregiving, patience, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care requirements.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  
• Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  
• Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
  
• Perform catheter care and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed.
  
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
  
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.
  
• Launder clients� clothing and bedding as needed to ensure a clean living environment.
  
• Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety during outings.
  
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client progress and any concerns.
  

• Previous experience in caregiving or home health aide roles is preferred but not required.
  
• Knowledge of memory care techniques and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and catheter care is beneficial.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  
• Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining a compassionate approach.
  
• Understanding of medical documentation processes and adherence to HIPAA standards.
  
• Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
